Leather is a natural material — with a little care, it will age beautifully and last for years.
Everyday Care
- Wipe your belt or cardholder with a soft, dry cloth after use to remove dust and surface dirt.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can dry out and fade leather over time.
- Keep leather away from water. If it does get wet, blot gently with a dry cloth and let it air-dry away from direct heat — never use a hairdryer or radiator.
Conditioning
Every few months, apply a small amount of high-quality leather conditioner using a soft cloth in a circular motion. This keeps the leather supple and helps prevent cracking. Always test conditioner on a small, hidden area first.
Storage
When not in use, store your leather goods in a cool, dry place — ideally in a dust bag. Avoid folding your belt tightly for long periods, as this can create creases.
Cleaning
For light stains, use a leather-specific cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid household cleaning products, alcohol-based wipes, or abrasive materials, which can strip the leather's finish.
Fitting Your Cut-to-Fit Belt
- Remove the buckle by sliding it off the leather strap.
- Try the belt on and mark your ideal length.
- Trim the strap to size using sharp scissors or a leather cutting tool, following the guide lines on the strap.
- Reattach the buckle — your belt is now a perfect, custom fit.
If you're unsure about cutting, start conservatively — you can always trim a little more, but you can't add length back.
